Petrol Price Increased by Rs 55 in Pakistan – Massive Jump in Fuel Prices
The Government of Pakistan has announced a huge increase of Rs 55 per litre in petrol and diesel prices, making it one of the biggest fuel price hikes in recent years. After the latest update, petrol prices have jumped to around Rs 321 per litre, putting additional financial pressure on the public and businesses across the country.
The sharp rise in petrol prices is mainly linked to the ongoing tensions and conflict involving Iran, the United States, and Israel, which has caused global oil prices to surge. The conflict has disrupted oil supply routes in the Middle East, leading to higher fuel costs in many countries, including Pakistan.
Experts warn that if the conflict continues in the coming days, petrol and diesel prices could increase further due to instability in global oil markets. Rising fuel prices may also lead to higher transportation costs and inflation across Pakistan.
